Join Dundee Comics Creative Space for the launch of our latest Being Human comic books. The first, Pandemic Tales, charts responses to the Covid-19 outbreak and lockdown, reflecting on the ways we have all had to adjust to this new world over the last several months. The second, New Worlds, will feature the winner and runners-up from the Dundee Comics Prize competition, in which comics creators are asked to respond to the national Being Human theme New Worlds. The resulting science fiction anthology features explorations of outer space, the multiverse, and a time travel! Professor Christopher Murray will open with a quick illustrated talk on a history of science fiction comics, and Professor Divya Jindal-Snape will discuss the creation of Pandemic Tales. All welcome!
